Upcoming Events….
2025
On 12th September we will be part of an effort to walk the length of the coast path. Working with other organisations, including the National Park, the 12th September will be a fun day out, with everyone able to run, walk, wheel or swim a section of the path. This is to highlight the benefits of being in nature for everyone’s wellbeing. Click on the QR code to register and join in.
On 5th September we will be holding out regular Harvest Festival. This will run from 11am until 2.00. We will have a treasure hunt, raffle and of course cakes and coffees to stuff yourself with. The shop will be open and we’ll have local honey, local jams, marmalades and chutney. The garden has been very fruitful, so you may be able to buy some fresh, organic vegetables too. We have just started apple juicing, so there will be lots of fresh apple juice to buy as well
2024
On Friday 6th September 2024 we’ll be celebrating with our annual Harvest Fair. We’ll have the normal fun and games including a treasure hunt. We’ll be serving coffee, tea and cake, as well as healthy, wholesome soup. Help us to raise money for Tir Natur, come along and support a good cause. 11-2pm.
On Friday 15th March 2024 Clynfyw will be doing our bit for Comic Relief. We have decided that we would like to take part in the fund raising. It will be payback time, when participants and staff will have the opportunity to throw wet sponges at the manager. Participants will be car washing to raise money. There will also be a hot lunch and cakes for sale
On Friday 29th March 2024 Clynfyw will be holding an Easter Egg hunt. This event has always been popular in the past. We’ll have some visiting stall holders and it will also feature our own craft group’s stall. We’ll have an Easter Egg Hunt, with prizes for those who find all the eggs. We’ll also have a raffle with some great prizes for winning raffle ticket holders. The Tinky trailer will visit with fresh coffee, courtesy of Bluestones Coffee. Plus of course there will be cakes…yum yum! All money raised will go to the British Egg Welfare Trust.
We are having fascinating conversations with many interested people and it is clear the potential for what we are planning is huge, and if we can make it work it could pave the way for others in the future.
Our local resilience group, Ffynnone Community Resilience, has monthly meetings. If you live locally and would like to join the mailing list, please contact:resiliencenorthpembs@gmail.com
