 Clynfyw Care Farm

News update!

We will have a Farm Shop starting up at Clynfyw before the end of March 2022. Its an exciting time!

We aim to sell things we have made and produced ourselves, and also items that friends and allies have made too. We don’t plan to set up a village shop-there are already really good ones in Boncath, Cilgerran and Cenarth-but do come by to have a look. Hopefully there will be a space to display art work too! Paul Philips is leading this project. More info soon!

We promote the following items from Clynfyw and also on our Facebook Page. We can post some, so please get in touch if you are interested.

Gellideg Charcoal

We have been making barbecue charcoal for 20 years. Now for sale in: Newcastle Emlyn: Carrot Cruncher, Trefhefyn Garden Centre. Crymych: Bwyd y Byd. Boncath: Boncath Shop. Cardigan: Brondesbury Garden Centre. Newport: Havards. We also make charcoal sticks for artists.

Vegetables

Our growing project is growing! And we will have an increasing range of fresh produce for sale throughout the year. We will also be selling processed produce.

Apple Juicing

Do you have apple trees and like apple juice? Our scheme runs throughout the autumn. Bring your apples in and we will juice, bottle and pasteurise them. Juice lasts 12 months+ and is delicious!

How about 12 bottles of Clynfyw Apple Juice delivered to your door?
How much? you ask. To you…..£35.00. This is for people who live locally. We had a nightmare mail ordering further afield, so stopped doing that!

Kindling

We will be making kindling to sell in the shop. If you would like some… please just ask!

Crafts

From drawing charcoal and pickled onions to handmade candles and leatherwork, we make all sorts of things. Come along to one of our events and see the latest creations. We aim to offer mail-order too!

Books

Keep an eye out for On The Hill Books. Our first book, published in June 2018, is about how to set up a care farm: ‘A Beginners Guide to Care Farming’.
